Today, Russia celebrates the national holiday of the Russian Federation; Russia Day. Since 1992, it has been celebrated annually on June 12.
While most of Russians celebrate the holiday, police are detaining protestors at march in support of journalist Ivan Golunov. He was arrested and released after confirming, that police planted drugs on him.
